Miso Soup with Ginger and Watercress

In this season of turbulent weather it is useful to eat warm cooked foods to strengthen your immune system and nourish your qi.

If you feel yourself coming down with those tell tale early cold symptoms treat yourself to a bowel of Miso Soup with Ginger, Spring Onion and Watercress. to open the exterior and release your wind cold symptoms.

Either 1 pint of bone broth (full of amazing healing properties) or 1 pint of vegetable bouillon

ADD

2 Teaspoons of probiotic rich fermented miso stirred into the simmering broth or bouillon

1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger

1 cup of chopped watercress

4 chopped spring onions

Squeeze of half a lemon

Simmer for 1 minute and serve immediately
